The Sonoran Spa Resort is a gated complex with 202 fully furnished and individually decorated condominiums on Puerto Peñasco's #1 Beach - Sandy Beach - where the resort extends along the white sands of the Sea of Cortez, with views of the awesome Mexican sunsets to the west, and the Old Port and Harbor of the city to the east. Sonoran Spa boasts 3 oceanfront swimming pools (one with a water slide), 2 jacuzzis, a fitness center, restaurant, activity center, children's play area, bbq area, a tennis court and is the home of La Spa de Penasco and a mini-market/liquor store. Each 1, 2 or 3 bedroom condo is fully furnished, including equipped kitchens and washer/dryer. There are 7 channels of Satellite TV. Most condos have high speed internet. Every condo has a terrace that is either beachfront or unobstructed ocean view. Sonoran Spa Resort is the only resort in Rocky Point with a "safe swim" area marked by bouys.
